Be yourself-everyone else is taken

My name is Melissa McCune and am excited to be a part of the Frontier Valley staff. I have been teaching art for 20+years in various school settings to include oversea military bases, rural, and suburban.

I am passionate about encouraging and engaging students to create art and reflect upon art globally and in their community. I like to share my excitement for art through various art projects to support different learning styles and opportunities for success with all my students.

I am married to my greatest supporter for 29 years and he has been cheerleading me through all my endeavors. We have three sons. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. I like hanging out and down time with my family. One of my bucket list goals is to write a children’s drawing book. I look forward to meeting everyone and contributing to the efforts and goals of Frontier Valley.
