You Don’t Have To See The Whole Staircase. Just Take The First Step.

— Martin Luther King

I have been teaching in Douglas County for 15 years. Prior to moving to Colorado, I taught 6 years in Maryland. I graduated from West Virginia University, where I received my degree in Elementary Education.

I am one of the fourth grade teachers here at Frontier Valley. I have taught at Frontier Valley since 2003. My favorite part of fourth grade is teaching Colorado history. It’s fun for me since I’m not originally from Colorado and I love learning about new places. I grew up in Northern Virginia and moved with my husband Brad and three daughters, Erin, Kristen and Megan from Maryland in 1999. In my spare time, I love spending time with my girls, walking with my husband and our dog, Blizzard. I also enjoy traveling with my family. Two of our favorite places to go to are Oak Island, North Carolina and Disney World.
