I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Frontier Valley again this year! I have been teaching Kindergarten and First grade for the past 23 years. After I graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Communication, I worked in public relations for about a year. At that time I decided to go back to school to earn a degree in Education. When I was in 1st grade I knew that I wanted to be a teacher! I earned a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado, Denver. After teaching in Aurora Public Schools for nine years, I transferred to the Douglas County School District. I began teaching 1st grade at Frontier Valley and then decided to transition to Full Day Kindergarten program.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, John, and our two daughters, Morgan and Kylie. As a family we enjoy traveling, camping and skiing.
