“When the atmosphere encourages learning, the learning is irresistible”.

This is my thirteenth year teaching in the Douglas County School District. I received my elementary and special education license, along with my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction . I have taught both 3rd and 5th grade while in DCSD and am now excited to be teaching Technology here at FVE. Hands-on learning discoveries, varied learning experiences, personal responsibility, and a love of learning are at the forefront in my classroom. I’m excited to teach students the importance of technology starting off with becoming outstanding digital citizens, along with guiding students through a multitude of resources that can be used to show their understanding about content they learn in their classroom. Students will have the opportunity to use materials including computer programs, iPads, and robotics. I am excited about this new opportunity and know that we will have an exciting year learning and growing together as digital citizens and critical thinkers!
