The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

I am a Colorado native who is so pleased to have been teaching here at Frontier Valley since we opened in 2002. It has been exciting each year to watch our school and community change and grow. It has given me the opportunity of teaching 3rd grade, 2nd grade, teach on a modified calendar, a year-round calendar and be a member of various school committees. I received my undergraduate degree in early education from Northern Arizona University in 2002 and my master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in curriculum and instruction.

I feel so fortunate to be a part of the wonderful community here at Frontier Valley Elementary School, as well as, being a part of this year’s second grade team. I am looking forward to starting our new school year and getting to know each family.

This year will be my 15th year in 2nd grade. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a wonderful family! My husband Steve loves the Broncos, my daughter Ellie (7 1/2) loves being a big sister, dancing and swimming and my son Easton (5 years) loves to play sports, ride bikes and learn about animals. As a family, we enjoy outdoor activities, traveling and cheering on Colorado sports teams.
