In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Douglas County School District will be closed to in-person learning for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. This school closure includes Before and After Care (BASE), preschool, outdoor education, and any DCSD-sponsored field trips and camps, as well as facility rentals. Volunteer Hours

Please submit any volunteer hours completed outside the school to Lisa Chipman. This includes work for classrooms, specials, FVEA, SAC, fundraisers, events, etc.  We appreciate all the time donated to FVE.

Parent Volunteers

All parent volunteers must complete a “Parent Volunteer Agreement” every school year. Douglas County School District requires this to be completed with either a driver’s license, state-issued ID, or a Military ID before volunteering in schools and with students. Please turn in completed agreement to the school office or email it to Lisa Chipman.

Community Volunteers

Community Volunteer, any non-parent volunteer, must complete a “Community Volunteer Application” each school year with a copy of their Colorado driver’s license. If you have out of state license, then social security number must be provided. Applications are background checked by Douglas County District Security. Please turn in completed application and turn in to the front office or email it to Lisa Chipman.
